topic small rant in Libraries & objects

<R>I've found the AC object library to be pretty good and useful but there are a few gaps that defy explanation. Just today, I found that although there is a double wall over, a wall oven/micro combination, and a built-in micro, there is no single wall oven.

Then I found that there is an undercounter washer, but no undercounter dryer!!!!

I appreciate the productivity gains that the BIM offers but hunting down all these details to make it work sure cuts into that gain. I'm hoping that after some more time with AC and more projects, the time spent hunting will decline.....

Chris,

despite a BIM thrilling idea sometimes you have to stop modeling everything in 3D and you have to resort to the old fashion 2D drafting. What I do with all appliances I simply turn 3D off and draw them up in IEs instead of a lengthy search for a proper library part.
