It is probably so the view angle setting is consistent with the camera Azimuth angle for the Top View in the Parallel Projection Settings dialog box. The same angle direction is also used in the Sun dialog box.
PROJECT2 SCRIPT question

<T>I am very very new to GDL

My question is for the script PROJECT2 3,270,2

I don't understand why we need to tell the camera to turn 270. I understand what the point is ... But shouldn't 0 instead of 270 show the correct view( i know that it doesn't) But I am trying to understand every command correctly.
If I have a chair and the front left leg is on 0,0 on the xy axis, to me the top of the chair should be in the correct position in 2D at the angle 0.

I hope that I have been clear, and sorry for posing a question that is probably obvious to everybody else.

Thanks</T>

In ArchiCAD all angles start at 3 "o'clock" and open counterclockwise. Your eyeposition from orbit around your object (in the center) is at 270 degree. I guess 95 percent of all PROJECT2-commands are beginning with 3,270. Would decrease typing time if we wouldn't have to add. <E>😉</E>
