GDL object and SEO

Hi!

I think there isn't a function like this today, but what do you think about a command where you could define what part of an object that should be active in an SEO session?


StartSEO
    ..code
EndSEO

StartSEOHide
    .code
EndSEOHide

Where objects between StartSEO / EndSEO are normal and could work in an SEO operation.
And "Hide" option doesn't draw polygons in this section, but it work in SEO operations. Then you could easy build an object that could make hole in other objects even if there isn't any solid right there. Lets say a pipe going through a wall.

And solid outside code doesn't work with seo's.

Or, maybe, code outside work normaly, Hide don't display solids but interact with SEO and StartSEONot doesn't interact with SEO?

This is implemented in another way. Have a look at GLOB_CONTEXT status 43, 44 and 46.

This works quiet well. I have done some objects with this option yet. This can increase 3D model update speed too.

Nice, GC=43 is exact what I'm looking for. Exact what are 43, 44 and 46 doing? I've try with both GDL reference book and your deutsch site without understanding it correctly.
The description in GDL RB are not what it could be...

There was just a short exange about the need of good GDL documentation on GDL Talk too...

It is a long time ago I had to use my Deutch so there was a few important things you have written that I don't understand.
