It sounds like a problem in the code but how can we know
since we don't have the library part or the code.
By the way this thread should probably be moved to
Libraries/Library parts/GDL.

<T>What causes parts of a library object to not show up on the plan when placing the object? These same parts do not show up on the library screen when previewing and selecting the part prior to placing on the drawing?

I have not had that happen before. Toggling the various parameters on and off in the library part do not change how it looks.

If I highlight the item on the plan I can see that the part is there - it does not fully show up - only a couple of the lines.</T>

Please tell us which library parts have this problem.
These are 2d standard library parts made in house for company use. The parts have been used for some time - other parts are in use. Just haven't been able to figure out why only some of them are now acting like a part of them is toggled off.

we have had similar problems with libary parts particularly when they were rotated. although not entirely sure of the solution we found that rescripting the the 2D with polylines in lieu of circles was the solution
