Depending on what you're trying to accomplished, you'd probably be best served by a bitmap object.

A question about the Bitmap people:

Why, when you select Custom picture, do the "People Bitmap 10" people disappear in plan? I have made some groups of people for a school rendering I am doing, using TIF images with masks for transparency around them. They show o.k. in the renderings and 3D window, but the object does not display in plan, just a reference dot when selected. I have worked around it by grouping them with an object I can see (one of the standard AC people) and selecting the group to see where they are, but that's getting tedious.
Perhaps a better question would be "why do the standard bitmap people display as a 3D block type thing in plan, when they are only bitmaps?"

Stoo-rt:

Reviewing the 2D script for the bitmap people shows a specific symbol routine for each embedded image. When you use a "custom" image, it reverts to the symbol for "Woman standing."

Something is obviously broken.

Thanks "Dweight"

Had a look at 2D script. There was no reference to "if gs_picture_name='Custom'...., only Man Reading, Woman Standing, children, etc...

Maybe I need to update my libraries?
