<T>Ladies & Gents,

I have created a simple sign with a custom texture I made in Photoshop then applied in AC10. I believe my problem lies with the origin of the texture because as soon as I snap the object to the project origin, all is well. But I need the sign away from the project origin AND readable (I have some close ups). So my question is simple:

1. Is this an easy fix for a novice GDL person to fix?

Thanks for the help!
The sign that you show requires no GDL. If you just make it with standard tools - using a wall for the panel inside the frame - use the Align 3D Texture > Set Origin command to set the origin to the lower left of the wall (which is where it would be anyway).
Advantages to using the Picture 10 object is that it acts as a resizable/re-proportionable (?) picture panel that can be relocated without unpredictable results.

If you post the 3d script of the object maybe we can help...
