ArchiForma is good for creating more complex objects that you could not easily make with Archicad's normal tools, but they still will not have parametric frame sizes or anything like that.

<T>Is it possible that you have the ability to deside around wich hotspots will the dimensions of the object change?
eg. see the picture
If I have this frame that has 15 cm "offset", would it be possible that this value (15cm) stays the same whole the time, meaning that I want the fame to change its dimensions just around its inner points?

So if I have, weight/height (W/H) 150x150 cm, offset is 15cm
If I have 70x70 cm, offset stay the same - 15cm</T>

You can make a parameter for the frame width. This will require writing (or editing) the GDL script.

This sound like a problem
Would this be maybe possible with ArchiForma, couse I read that you can model shapes and that its also an GLD tool?

It quite an easy GDL command
use poly2_
look it up in the reference guide
use the A and B values of the object plus a custom parameter. Good way to start to learn GDL.

You could modify the automatic script, but make sure the elements are at the (absolute) project origin before saving them. It is still probably easier to write from scratch.

Matthew, is there any egsample that would help me to understand this procedure and to aply it?
I was reading a little in AC manuals on GDL, but I didnt found even one egsample.
But what abouth ArchiForma?
Does it alow this kind of control over created objects?
