solar panels / texture anyone?

Anyone got a solar panel object or photovaltaic texture that they would like to share?

Good point, we do a lot of these now. I will find/make a good shader with image file/texture, as a PNG file. Typically the material has been enough, but it would be nice to get the alpha effect/shadows from the panels without the white backing, I like those kind, but they are becoming scarce, the white backing seems to be gaining popularity in manufacturing circles.

to answer my own question! yes there is now a library part in the AC12 library - do a search for solar. The texture applied is pretty poor though.

Here is a texture attached if anyone want it.

There is also a free one and many other objects at www.archicadselect.com.

Just sign up and any objects over 6 months old you can download free
