Works here with the "Flags-America" folder loaded via the Library Manager. One thing to check: Object Settings > Model > Use Object's Surfaces is checked.
If you need it with flags, the "Flag" object from Objects Online works well for me. If no flags, make it using one of the things in the "Basic Shapes 10" folder in the Special Construction Folder.

Try to find Frank Chin's objects. There is a flagpole with lots of flags ...

Otherwise, as suggested - a very tall and very thin cylinder would do. A ruled surface for a flag would do.

You can find flags here:
http://perso.orange.fr/archilib.od/
They have predefined textures too.

Best regards,
I have located Chin's Flag object as well as the country flag jpg's... however, I am having trouble getting the country flag image to load to the object...

The object loads great... and seems like it will work... but, the material is a standard material in the material library.

How does one load the flag graphic to the object? Please help ASAP.

We're working in ArchiCAD 17.
