<T>i'm using archicad 10 on mac os X, and i'm using the object pylon from library 4.5 - the name in italian is "traliccio alta tensione" - now, on plan and 3d view i can use and see it, while on rendering it disappears, with every kind of rendering (internal, z-buffer or lightworks) - i REALLY need it, what can i do? TIA
You are cooked like thanksgiving turkey.

That object was translated from a way old object. the command GDLBIN is outdated.

Maybe someone else can help you, but it looks like version 10 can't read it.

If you have an old version of Archicad, you should open it and save it from the 3D window as a new object.... this MIGHT work.

thanks... i'll try - anyway, how come that they did not translate this object for ac 8 and later? it comes often that you have pylons in your landscape...

I suspect that object is from ArchiTerra - they had a rudiiiimentary library done in GDL back in the old days.

I'm sorry to to contradict you but this is not the true!
The ArchiTerra library (as the software itself) is always update in order to be compatible with the latest ArchiCAD version.
Actually it is downloadable from the Object Depository and it works fine (just look at the number of dowloads!).

That object ""traliccio alta tensione" was a library part coming from the very first ArchiCAD version and it hasn't been update because nobody asked anymore for it.

I kindly suggest that user to contact the Cigraph Tech Support that will help him on this issue...
