Door swings showing incorrectly when migrating to AC10 Libra

I have a concern about some doors in the AC10 library Not sure if it's been covered before or if I'm missing something.
There are some recent AC9 projects, which I'm trying to bring into AC10

When I remove the ArchiCad9 library and load only the ArchiCad10 library, many of the door swings end up rotated incorrectly. These happen especially for the D1 & D2 type wood-plastic internal doors.

I need to then change the parameter in the door symbol to let the opening direction be 'outside'. For some reason it seems that AC9 doors were set to be open 'inside'.

If one migrates to AC10 without checking the door swings and then issues drawings to a contractor one could be in for lots of nasty surprises.

I had the same happen with a project from AC9 - all the door swings flipped over.

If you began a project in ArchiCAD 9 with ArchiCAD 9 library parts, you can open the project in ArchiCAD 10, but you should still use the ArchiCAD 9 library parts you began with.
I think this is recommended by Graphisoft too.
I also think that a lot of library parts in ArchiCAD 10 are written completely new.

I have been opening the older files with the new library and much prefer the results. There are a few glitches, but well worth fixing for the benefits of leaving the old library behind. Of course this is only with files projects that are in SD/DD or even early CD phase. Projects that are nearly complete should be finished in AC9, so I have yet to run into a case where I preferred to load the older library in 10.

I personally think it was a slip up by GS which was not picked up in the beta testing.
I recall that from version 8, the idea with renaming of the library parts was to allow for future compatibility. This was a good move, in that one could easily work with the advantages of the latest library on older projects. One can understand that improvements need to be made and are definitely welcomed.
