Even more strange -- if I highlight the door and go into the Setting Dialog for it, without changing a thing, I can click OK and the door suddenly decides to display properly.

<T>I copied one of the ArchiCAD door objects and created one that has some special parameters, and some logic to support those parameters. I saved favorites using the new door with different settings. Whenever I double-click a favorite, then insert the resulting door, all I get is the hole and a big dot -- as if it weren't loaded. If I pop up the Library Manger and hit 'Reload', the door suddently starts working correctly. What could be causing this?</T>

I've had this problem too -- usually, I just redefine the Favorite "with current Default" and all is well again -- LJY.
