<T>My 9 clouds are solid. I can edit the color but I can't get a cloud that is just a contour line. This is true for all the computers in our office. Has anyone else seen this bug? Is there a front end parameter I'm missing?</T>

Huy yuy yuy!

Open the Object using the File>GDL Objects>Open Object method.

Open the parameters list.

There's a cross on the gs_fill_type line.
This means it is a hidden parameter.

Either uncheck the hiding of the fill parameter to make it visible in the object dialog box or change it to 128, the empty fill.

Save the symbol.

Can I save the object over it's old version? It keeps asking me for a file path and name when I save and I just want the original one in the 9 library to change.

Thanks again,
That is because it is read from a PLA, not a folder.

Unpack yuor PLA, edit all the parts you need to edit, resave as PLA or keep using the folders.

Done.

Okay,

New problem. I've gotten the fill to go away but now I can't stretch the cloud. The size shown in the info box changes but the image on the drawing does not. I've tried the two options in the details box and messed about with other parameters but nothing has worked so far.

Any help would be appreciated.
Just be careful when a new library update comes out.

I usually recommend keeping anything you change in a separate library of your own so it does not get wiped out the next time you update something from Graphisoft.

Is it that simple? I thought you needed to put all the blocks that would make up the new "PLA Library" into the current file. I think that's how I heard it explained once, and scared me too much to even explore it further. So, what then is the correct process?

Sergio:
When you go to File>Save As... to create a .pla file, there is an Options button in the Save Plan dialog box. Click this button and you will get the following options (see illustration). Check your Library Manager to ensure that you have only the libraries loaded that you want to be in the .pla file. Also, what you are archiving are library parts (objects, doors, windows, lamps, etc.), not blocks (wink emoticon).
