Thanks Laszlo. I've seen that CUTPOLYA has that ability, but being an old dog I was hoping to avoid learning a new trick. I did have some limited success with CUTPLANE by changing the pen color to something quiet just before the Cutplane statements, but it looks like I'd better add CUTPOLYA to my limited GDL skills.

Does anybody remember that typo for an old GDL seminar?
FEAR GDL NOW MORE!

<T>Does anybody know a good cheap trick for hiding the lines that are created where CUTPLANE slices through an object?
Thanks</T>

Try to use the CUTPOLYA command to cut the shape.
It can probably achieve the same effect as the CUTPLANE. The CUTPOLY body must be large enough.
With CUTPOLYA you have control over the visibility of cut edges.

Having whined about having to learn a new GDL trick, I return to report that CUTPOLYA is a great way to slice and dice in GDL. Besides having the ability to control the attributes of the resulting planes, it's easy to start out with a PRISM, which you can see to size and move into position. Once it's right you simply change it to a CUTPOLYA. It works like a very simplified SEO operation.
