Locking entire scrpts

I have a few objects that have locked 2D and 3D scripts.
their respective tabs are simply grayed out..
Can I somehow unlock and have a look inside those scripts??,
or at least lock a few of mine?

There is tool called "Hide script" to lock it. There are ways to unlock it. But if someone has locked your scripts he had reason to do it. And maybe he thought: If you really want to see it you should do some effort to find out how. 😉

I`m sure he had his reasons, but all the materials are defined from
the script, and I don`t see anything that bad in trying changing them.

could you plz, plz plz tell where is that tool you are talking about.
