Does anyone know the GDL call that would allow us to make a library part that could identify the Reference ID of the detail window it was inserted into and display it? We would put this part on a visible layer so that it would display in the view inserted into PlotMaker.

Is there such a call?

There is an AutoText field in Plotmaker that you can include as simple text
<ACFILENAME> is the name of the PLN/PLP file it came from
<DRAWINGNAMEEXT> is the name of the plan, section, or detail window.

Thanks Tom, but we were specifically looking for the Reference ID and not the Detail Name. Any other ideas?

Do you mean the internal ID used to control referencing Detail Markers, just the Detail number you fill out in the Detail Menu?

My temporary solution has been to do a title type in Plotmaker that uses the auto text feature and calls the id number and name and places it in the correct spot in the title. It somewhat solves the problem. If you would like further info about the title type you can im me (see my profile).
