thanks Karl.

The Stack Window Option work better in v8.1! They changed it around and work differently in v9. And now, I've seen enough of SE Library.

WHAT'S GOING ON??????

My main concern: Doors & Windows are essential building elements for architect. Why on the earth that GS make these doors and windows that are not appealing to some of us. I no longer use any of the GS doors & windows. I've made ONE for my own use. Sometimes, I will have to use DWB 3.5 but never GS D&W!

Stacked Window?

<T>Hi,

What do the "Stacked Window" options for windows do??

I put two windows on top of each other and tried turning them on and off, but it didn't seem to do anything. I was hoping that it would affect the schedules so that if I had two windows stacked it would show up as one (bigger) window in the schedule, but it didn't do that.

Couldn't find anything in help files or in the forums, so hopefuly someone can help me out?

Thanks.</T>

I could be wrong, but I think it modifies the frame of the window, so they look like one window in elevations.

That's right - it turns the trim off so that you can stack windows against each other. We worked long and hard with Graphisoft to get that option.

Many thanks go to Tibor Szolnoki at GS for his hard work and commitment to taking user's wishes and making them a reality.
Cheers,
Where is this option may be this will resolve the lack of having transients above rectangular doors also.
Thanks,
It's in the window's parameters. Not all windows will have it though.

Thanks for the info everyone.. I wasn't using trims when I was playing around with the option, so it's no wonder I didn't see any difference!
