topic REPAIR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PRISM_ in Libraries & objects

<R>Hello,
For the longest time I have noticed that, in the 3D window, many
objects when placed next to each other lose the common edge lines
at the joint between them. I always assumed that there was something
wrong with my machine, but recently I discovered that this issue has
been known and reported for at least six months.
see this thread :
<LINK_TEXT text="http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/vie ... a5a3#23897">http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=23897&highlight=prism&sid=c57831d1d6537ea64a7ae9f67c0ba5a3#23897</LINK_TEXT>

I did some testing and concluded that the mostly the problem occurs
with various forms of the PRISM command. But it also occurs with
the tube command when the path is closed.

I did a search in the wishes forum and found no wish that mentioned
the problem of the implementation of the PRISM_ command
in AC 8.1 and AC 9.0 build 1964.

I understand that there are many work-arounds including converting
all PRISM_ commands to EXTRUDE but in many cases this is not
satisfactory because the mask and status values of EXTRUDE
are limited relative to PRISM_ .

But why do we have to do work-arounds ?
PRISM_ has always been the true workhorse of GDL.

I have entered a wish for the repair of the implementation of PRISM_ .
It is at the top of the list chronologically in Open Archicad Wishes.
Please vote.
Thank you,
