Go to File/Library Manager...

Click on the Local/LAN tab and find the ArchiCAD folder. The ArchiCAD Library folder will be in there and in it will be a PLA file. You need to drag that over to the right side of the window and click Load.

<T>I am a college student who recently purchased ArchiCad 9.0 Student Edition. I tried to open up a project I worked on at school, using ArchiCad, and no objects will show up. I get a missing library parts error, and if I try if I go to the object tool - I have no objects whatsoever to choose from? What gives?? Any and all info kindly appreciated.
Thank you! Thank you! Tell me this - I clicked on "Check for Latest Library" under Help - <LINK_TEXT text="http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archi ... s/USA.html">http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/downloads/library_updates/USA.html</LINK_TEXT> - am I going to want to upgrade this?

Also, I noticed that I have to load the library as you described each time I start ArchiCad - the setup at school has the library already loaded - is there a way I can do this as well?

Mike,

Make sure the path to your library on your home computer is the same as the path on your school computer, and you shouldn't have to reload the library everytime you open the file.
