How can I create a new Door ID symbol?

I'm trying to create a new Door Id symbol with three text inside a circle. Let said that we take the circle divided thru the center and one of the half-circle is divided in two. I want to represent Door No. Hardware No., and Door Type. I tooked the Door_NCS.gsm and save as with a new name and then start to try to make this .gsm. Any help will be appreciated.

what part are you having problems with? I think you need to be a bit more specific.
As long as you save the file with the correct subtype then it is only a matter of using the standard GDL commands for circle, line and text. You dont need to start with an existing library part. In fact the pre made ones can somtimes be so complicated that they confuse rather than clarify.

I couldn't find where to create the circle with the lines inside and also how can I choose where th text will be placed?

you will need to read the GDL manual (or parts of it). Also google "GDL cookbook" for some info on scripting. The basic shapes-circles and lines are easy to understand

look upthe following commands

and text2

Unfortunately,you arent giving me much feedback. I dont know whether you know anything about scripting or not.

This forum isnt the place for a full blown tutorial in GDL Scripting. If you indicate what you have come up with and people here might be able to help better.

Try a couple of commands and see what happens. Unfortunately experimintation is often the way to work things out. Then you can post results for comment.
