      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;R&gt;There is a book about chaos research from Heinz-Otto Peitgen and others, which has some demonstrating programms written in BASIC.&lt;BR /&gt;
One of them describes a fern, which I converted to GDL; nice result.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Just test it out. In the attechement you find the gdl file.&lt;BR /&gt;
It depends on the number of iterations, which is a parameter.&lt;BR /&gt;
The default setting (just as shown on the picture) took less than a second.</description>

I remember I did same cool fractal images in Basic &lt;BR /&gt;
