go into the archicad library and you'll find a crown moulding library part. possibly very similar to what you created. those parts can be mitered.
I've found the profiles very good.

<T>Hi there, I'm new to the forum and also coming from acad to archicad. I have created a new crown object and is there a way to mitre the inside and or outside corners? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jim</T>

Yes I've seen the crown that is in the library and it does work, But I also have a radius eve detail that I have made and would still like to mitre and also I would like to know if its possible to mitre for future reference. I know that anything is possible but is there a simple way to achieve this without getting deep into the GDL object making process.

Thanks, Jim

Hi Jim,

I'm guessing that you've made your crown with the Profiler add-on? If so, just go to the object settings and you have two parameters to adjust the ends: "Cutting angle 1" and 2.

If you find yourself doing lots of custom extrusions, you might like Cigraph's ArchiForma 2.0 which has dynamic hotspots for editing the ends (as well as every point in the profile and much more).

HTH,
archiforma will miter, though the whole process can be time consuming.
I actually made the profile from the slab tool and it worked and places quite well (except for the miter).

I must have been blind not to have seen the profiler. I recreated my profile, piece of cake. Miters look beautiful. Thanks all for the help and replies.
