<T>I can never get an object to cleanup at a 3D intersection with a slab in the same way a wall does. ( see attached elevation)
Is it possible?</T>

It always (well, almost always) works for me. you need to make sure that the section fill is the same for the objects as it is for the walls, slabs, roofs, etc. I do this all the time and only occasionally do I have a line that just won't go away.

I typically have walls, slabs and roofs all meeting at the eaves with a library part for the cornice trims. I have no trouble getting them all to make a clean outline in section. To keep it simple (and easy to remember and teach others) I use a fill that I call "! Section Fill" for everything that I want to clean up in section. (The exclamation point puts it at the top of the list.) It is a copy of the standard "Empty Fill" which has to be merged into AC8.1 files (if it's not already present) since we can no longer make copies of the solid or empty fills

Matthew,
I think John is refering to cleaning up in elevation not section.
If he is I have not found any way to make an object clean
up with a wall, slab, or roof except by creating masking prism_ s
in the object's 3D script. These masking prism_ s are 0.002" thick
with all masking values set to 8 and cover the joint between the object
and archicad tool object which don't have a user option to hide edges.
I do this often and wish a more honerable way to do this "cleaning up".
I have not had a problem in a section cut through such objects where they touch each other (if all have the same section fill).
John,
I've been meaning to do this for weeks.
I have had the same problem and the same wish.
Now a year later I have some information.
Both the XWALL command and the BWALL command will
cleanup with slabs and walls with some strange limitations.
Glad to discuss it if you are still interested.
