Yes, there are more solutions now.

<S></S>

You have custom corners for windows from AC12 (or 11?). There you can make a corner on the left side of the window. Naturally, you don't have the advantages (and limitations) of the Corner Window tool with this method.

<S></S>

From AC14, you have the 'Side Hung Mirrored' option in all basic windows. Consequently, you can use the Corner Window tool and change the opening of the panel to mirrored.

<T>I am using the corner window tool with a basic casement window from the 8.1 library (not classic windows). When I apply an opening angle to the 3D view the hinge side of the window is always on the corner. I would like the hinge side to be on the opposite side as it seems that would make more sense. I have tried the mirror command to no avail. Any help?</T>

I know this is really old but did you (or anyone else) find an answer to this question?

So in AC13 the windows can have varying locations for opening? And AC12 or AC11 can't? Or I need to create the windows with a custom tool? I am little confused (most of the time).

I never mentioned AC13:) Neither is it about custom tools or locations.

To solve this issue in AC12, you have to drop the corner window tool in favor of the simple window tool. In all simple windows you can set the custom corner option. In that, you can manually define the connection on both ends of the window. Consequently, you can set the corner connection to be on the left side of the window. (Note: corner window tool always puts the corner on the right side of the window.)

In AC14, you can simply change the opening direction of the window - well, in 2 months from now...

Cheers,
