topic Position of Columns? in Libraries & objects

<T>Think I already know the answer to this one (hint, it begins with n)

Is there any way to get positions of columns into the GDL environment?

I have developed some proof of concept library parts that can snap to positions, albeit a little convolutely.

I have a skylight object that writes out information on the roof it's in so the objects can snap to the roof plane. I'm going to do the same for a label object that can attach to slabs and walls and get useful data from them for snapping (frustratingly the same label can't be used for roofs), but I have no option for columns.

Im hesitant to have all my columns as objects, though that really seems like the only option.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.</T>
