    <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;Im trying to create a "ruled" with a hole in the shape&lt;BR /&gt;
but I keep getting a wrong hole definition.&lt;BR /&gt;
The manual doesnt give any clues in this regard.&lt;BR /&gt;

Here is a typ script that isnt working (the item is supposed to be tapering but for simplicity have made the rise vertical)&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>I think this was answered on the GDL-talk...&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
The "RULED" command does not allow you to script holes into the surface. You would need to punch the holes into the ruled surface with something like "CUTPOLY" or "CUTSHAPE".</description>

      <description>Thanks I got it to work nicely with the boolean cutting (similar to SEO)&lt;BR /&gt;
 and learnt a new process to boot</description>
