<T>Is there anyway within GDL to script in the height that the window would be off of the floor? Or to the top of the window.

Maybe a global parameter that I'm not finding?!?!?!?!</T>

Yes, but these Global Variables inform the object where it is to be. Is there a way the GDL object can tell the GV what to be? the height of the sill is set in the general object settings.

What you could do is to use the GV to make an ADDy trick to move the Wallhole and window so it is always the required height. This could be disconcerting as you would see figures in the datafield for sill height which were not actually borne out by the real height of the window in the 3D. Isnt it better to leave it to the user to set the height in the way they are used to?

As a test, I once made an object which read the Object's position in the model and made a similar adjustment. It was IMPOSSIBLE to move. Whatever you did to move it, it appeared to jump back to where it started.

I'm dealing with log opening so forcing the issue is perfect for my situation. I will try some of these out to see what I can come up with.
