Archicad objects all around are definitely lacking in my opinion. I used several other door objects before I just wrote my own. A lot of which came down to curve resolution and having the exact control I wanted. Now I have one door that can be any door. You could also just model your own doors and handles as a more simple option.

Part: 'Door With 2 Sidelights' from AC26

Issue 1:

Stiles not able to be specified other than plain panel. Normal stile width is around 150mm not 100 so when a standard backset is applied (for handle position), it hangs off the stile

Issue 2:

Even though resolution is a parameter for the door, the door handle does not respond and look poor in cue shots

Thanks @SenecaDesignLLC

Im a freelance Archicad systems dev and have been making libraries for organisations including GS Australia since 97

My point was not about making a door but reporting some basic issues so that other users would benefit without further cost in time or money. The core code of these libs is quite old now and just need a fixup

Cheers
