Transfer object parameters to a new object

I often find when creating objects that as I develop the object parameters I find I may decide the there is another object that may be better. Is there a way of transferring some of the basic parameter information to the new object, for instance size (length, height, width), material selection

Operating system used: Mac Intel-based Sonoma

Yes you can do that, look into transfer element settings.

Are you talking about something like changing from Door to Door with Sidelight? Press Ctrl + Alt when selecting the new object.
