topic Can I create a library from DWG files? in Libraries & objects

Hi!

Is there a way to Smoothly - straight forwardly - without endless workaround .... load 3D DWG library many objects without converging one by one?

I just downloaded all branded appliances (subzero/wolf) that we use in our projects. It's A LOT of files (each product has one 3d dwg). These brands had many different files for different softwares to download, just not for archicad/gdl... hence 3D DWG.

Now when I downloaded & organized everything into appliance folder, my plan was to attach it in Library Manager. But it seems that even though the library is added, it's not showing when I click on object.

I know that archicad can read 3D DWG but I would have to do one by one . My time is worth more than this so it is not even an option to do one by one.

My goal is that when I would since the Appliance folder with 3D DWG, through archicad library manager, that when I would be working in project and search for appliance XY, I could find it, and add it as I work. (The usual).

Please could someone elaborate on how to connect 3D DWG library, or convert it as whole.. or I don't know... basically anything except converting one product by one.

Thank you!

Have you tried importing RFA files as GDL.

I've never tried it myself.

Sure, but I have MANY of them. This is to do one by one - I clarified that one by one is not convenient. If it already can convert the file, it should as well convert several of them at the time or make a library out of it . So that was my question, if there is something better than one by one technique?
