A window "frame" is the portion of the window that fits in the wall opening and is attached to the wall. A "sash" is the portion of the window that fits within the frame and holds the glass or glazing. For fixed Metal or Alum. windows there usually is no "sash". <BR /><BR />Graphisoft, please correct this.
