      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have just installed ArchiCAD 8 on a brand new Mac. Have used the PC version (back with version 5) but never installed it or its libraries. On opening ArchiCAD the followwing error is reported and then I can not get into the libraries.       <description>What OS version? AC 8.1 or 8.0 and rev?&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
first thing to try is repair permissions. From Applications-Utilities-Disk Utility&lt;BR /&gt;
second thing to try is delete the Graphisoft prefs in your home library and in the cache folder.&lt;BR /&gt;
Third trash the AC folder in applications, repair permissions and then reinstall, then repair permissions again&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Actually I assumed that you have sufficient privileges to install the program if not that should be your first step</description>
