    <description>I figured it out!&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
For some reason the Background Fill Type was set to the pavement setting...  I changed that but to no avail...&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Then I saw a radio box for "fill above break line," which basically just turns the fill pattern on...  so i clicked it... and it fixed it...&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;I just came from Revit... this is my first post of many to come..&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
When I place a door, or for this toilet for instance, a pattern shows through.  it seems to be the same pattern and I can't find out where it is coming from.  Any input is helpful...&lt;BR /&gt;

&lt;BR /&gt;
Check the surface material of the object. In archicad each Surface can have a Color, a Texture Image or a Pattern. What you are seeing is the pattern of the surface. To change it there are 2 possible places one in the Object settings or another in the Surface Overrides.&lt;BR /&gt;
