In your examples I think it's OK if the value of the measured area contains also the sill area.

Best thing you can do is use a 0 value for the "wall recesses to zones'

The door sill (threshold) will still be uncovered, though.

<T>I am using the cover fill in the zone tool to display the tile pattern on the floor. I would like to have this fills cover my door threshold, without modifying the zones surface area.
My door threshold is set to transparent.
I can draw fills on the threshold, but it is awkward.
Is there a setting to extend my cover fill from the zone tool, over the threshold, without manually modifying the zone contour?
Thank you!</T>
