Could save another view where only the doors and windows have the required fills and then stack the two plans on the layout sheet so the colored fills are seen through the transparent settings of your regular view?

<T>Up till now, we've set window & door fills to 'Off' within the component option, but recently had a project where we had to colour all new work, including door frames, window frames and sashes.

Having turned the fills back on, and set suitable fill types and pen assignments, I can't now find a way to turn them off globally without losing all my other fills as well.

Is this possible - or should I just go back to pasting individual fills on a separate layer?</T>
