Achille,
I agree with your wish.
In the stacking order, see the "Display Order" in Archicad Help the program list objects 3rd.

Dimensions not being always on top although in the highest group is a big pet peeve and one that has caused problems when I've forgotten to select all dimensions and place at the forefront.

How about making this into a wish?

<T>Is there a reason why the Grid Element cannot be placed on top of the stack?!?
This is really annoying. When I place a Grid Element I want it to be always visible and on top of everything. For some reason this seems to be impossible. There seems to be a barrier that doesnt allow the grid element to go on top.
Why?
There are some elements that are not physical elements of the building that should always be on top, like dimensions, door markers, grids etc.</T>

Hi Erika,

the fact is that its not clear in which class the Grid Element belongs. Is it Annotation? Then why it is not possible to have it on top of everything like dimensions?

Anyway I will write the wish
