<T>hello there
as usual in our country i have to submit to my partners dwg cad drawing so when i finish plans it contains a lot of lines above each other that makes my partners very angry and called this drawing is not clean and not done so well also the lines is divided in a wall connected to door or window and i found it in autocad and worksheet as attached in the image

so please i want to do three things:
1-how i can make clean line without division and avoid lines above each other .
2-make the doors is block and windows is a block when exporting to autocad.
3- what is the ideal method to export to autocad is it to take a worksheet then export or export directly from floor plan

and thanks in advance</T>

You will want to look into the translator settings you use as you save the file.
There are too many options to explain but one is to convert complex elements into block.
This should make your doors and windows blocks.
I think that might also solve you extra lines in the door/window reveals.

I would save directly from your floor plan.
You can set up a publisher set that will automate the saving for you.
Once set up it is one click to publish whatever drawings you need.

thanks Barry
i tried to make as you told me but the problem of lines divided in reavealed window is still existing as in the image attached although window is block

also one last question do you prefer to save section or elevation via sections in navigator or through worksheet

and thanks in advance

I wouldn't save anything from a worksheet.
These just break down your Archicad plans into lines instead of the elements they were created as.
Personally I never use worksheets.

I also don't do any translating for Autocad compatibility so maybe others have some ideas for you.
