If I'm reading the image correctly it looks like a spiral wall with a tower in the middle? Could one make the wall and a mesh set to the desired top of the wall and use SEO to remove the wall above the mesh? Its a lot of work to create the mesh, but seems doable.

<T>Helo
On a project we will use a rather complex design(see pic). Any good ideas how to makes this in Archicad and still get det possibility to insert windows and door in the "walls"?.

Thanks</T>

if the thickness varies & if the wall is at the same height, i'd draw the walls using the polygon wall tool. they work with curves & splines. i'd draw the outlines using splines, then with the polygon wall tool, use it like a fill/slab.

you can still place windows because it is a wall...you'll just have a really deep window opening in the wall, at the thicker parts.

if the thickness varies & parts of the wall are at different heights, trim-to-roof maybe?

if the wall needs to be on an angle (i couldn't tell from your pic), well...that's where i'm stumped.
However much I love ArchiCAD, I have to say that it is not the right software to use for this design with the current tools available.

Sloping, variably curved and slanted walls are all separately possible in native ArchiCAD, but combining them all, as in your design, is nigh-on impossible.

If you combine it with maxonform/Cinema4d you may get closer to what you require, but the model will lose all 'intelligence'.

What software did you use to produce the image above? I'd try to stick with that!
