topic line weights in section / elevation models? in Libraries & objects

<DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"><T>Is there any way to set up the model so that when seen in section or elevation the line weights are adjusted according to how far the walls/doors/objects are from the section / elevation marker (as is done when drafting by hand or using "lines" on a cad machine)?</T></DIV>

There is a distant area setting in the section tool. This allows you to use a different pen for all elements beyond the depth you set.

Use "Marked Distant Area" in section / elevation (under Model Display tab) and set lines in distance to pens as applicable to your pen settings. Elevation pens for walls can also be set independantly from Plan view in the walls settings dialogue.
