<T>This is probably an easy question (I hope)-
All of a sudden the pocket doors in my plan appear to have a solid fill in the door itself and in the wall cavity. I have looked in Door selection settings under 2D representation (parameters) and Floor plan, but I cannot seem to get rid of this solid fill. Can someone help me out?</T>

I did not change a pen set, but I have done work on the same file on two computers, I notice that this leads to difficulties with library management, as the paths to the libraries are different. I believe the problem arises from this. The library manager will often leave out just one part of a library (doors for example) and I will go through an exercise to load the doors again. It was in doing this that the characteristics of the door changed, which wouldn't be so bad if I could just change them back.

I would guess that it's the fill background color that's causing this. Check the door´s parameters to get the pen (color) number. Either change that to something transparent or white, or create a new named pen set where that pen number is white.
