<R>1- Lots of times lately when I am working with Objects, and Windows and doors, I am finding that the previews are not showing up in my preview window, not the plan view, elv. view, 3D view - nothin.. Any ideas?

2- And more importantly-
How do you guys show windows that are above your floor plan cut plane?
Or below it too I guess.

We show our walls as projected with over head, and our windows as well. we do this so that the cut part of the window is darker and has a fill, and the sill and that stuff is lighter. Know what I mean.
The only way I can get the windows too highf or the cut plan or not high enough to show up is to show them as symbolic. But then they dont look nice like the rest of the windows in the project.
I am open to any suggestions please!
I have even resorted to putting a whitefill over the wall where the window goes and drawing the window in 2D- but this seems silly.

THANKS! </R>

In order to show a window that's above the floor plan cut plane, go to "Floor Plan Cut Plane Settings" (can be found in "Document" Menu) and adjust the "Relative Floor Plan Range".
