window/door labels in elevation

is it possible to show a door or window marker in elevation (not the builder dimensions) but the same marker you show in plan... can this be done somewhere in the settings i am overlooking? (note: i would like it to be associative... no false markers aka inserting my own text or symbol in the elevation)

You can add an associative marker (aka "Label") to your doors/windows in elevation -- SEE THIS POST

I have worked in ArchiCAD since version 6.5 and have never seen such an option. But it would be helpful.

so is it the label that you refer to? (text base) what i am looking for is a way to show the window symbol
