Complex Profile window problems

I've been having some problems with this Complex Profiles (CP) tool. I had a regular Brick veneer wall with windows set all around the perimeter. Created a CP of a stone watertable + brick upper, and modified this wall accordingly. However, once I did that, two problems popped up:

1. All walls changed height to whatever the CP was set to. I understand this issue had been covered before (though it took a while to find it).
2. All windows and doors changed to a dot, the "blue dot of death" as some called it. I tried to replace the wa_trim_us_10.gsm file as discussed here (thanks Matthew), but no dice. This is really getting frustrating since apparently not even the latest Hotfix has this issue fixed... unless I'm missing something. Anybody have any ideas? Or if this won't work, what's the workaround?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So... ummm... anybody have any ideas? I've tried using the Andersen Window library, and it kinda works, but the plan symbols do not match the typical windows, and most importantly they don't have all the sizes/styles that I need to use. Has anybody figured this thing out yet? Any workarounds (short of "create hole, create new wall to fit hole, insert window in new wall")?
