sections/elevations not generating

I'm working in AC 8.1 and have just added windows and doors to the model. Now the sections/elevations won't generate saying that a great number of lines are missing. Help!?

Could you quote the exact error message.
This would be helpful.
Does the building generate in 3D correctly ?

As it begins to generate the section/elev I get messages saying 'file not found at line xxx of file wa_trim_us81.gsm'. The file itself changes with each message. After clicking 'continue' a number of times I get the message ' there are several problems with this file. Youcan cancel the operation with ctl/command - period'.

It sounds like there is a problem with one of the door and window
macros that your window or door objects are calling in their scripts.
Could you tell us which door and window objects you are using.
We need the exact name so we can find them and test them.
