Yes Make sure the demolished layer has a different layer number for intersections

<R>In AC is there a way to assign a partial demolition of a wall, assign a color to demolition usual yellow, new construction to red. Sometimes a demolition in a wall its just a door, or closing a window. I´ve been using a layer combination bur makes a duplication of ententyes in project. It seems not very useful. Does have anyone experience in this kind of work? Help would be appreciated. </R>

what I do is cut the wall and change the bit to be demolished into a demo layer and give it a different fill and dashed line. Then when I have a sheet for the new work that layer is turned off ( as it has been demolished!).
Basically I have three layers.

existing
demolished
and new

So, if I have a door to demolish I demolish the part of wall that contains the door.

This of course "demolishes" the part of the wall over the door but unless I am doing quantities that probably doesnt matter that often. If that is an issue it just gets a bit more complex.

Project Framework also suggests that you explode the demolished items to 2D elements to avoid intersection issues (or at least it used to, haven't seen one for AC9 yet).
