Greyed out door schedule

Door schedule entries suddenly seem to be uneditable. All doors are grayed out, can't select any of them through the schedule preview. Can't figure out what happened here!

The layers containing the host walls must be visible and unlocked. Not intuitive, but has useful consequences when you do NOT want to be able to edit something.

Does the schedule have to be on the same story as the doors to be edited? I have placed the schedule on a separate details story that does not have any plan information on it.

you should be able to place the schedule on any story you want. We do it all the time.
