<R>I can't believe I'm asking this, but could not find anything about this matter...
I have an entire selection of objects, doors, windows, walls, dimesnisons, the whole lot, and I want to move all of them to one layer... how would I do this?

Hello Daniel

You can move all this selected elements to one layer by the "Edit Selection" Pomme-Alt-T in my Mac.
You can also by the same function change all colors all this selected elements to one color.

HTH

PS: Doors and windows don't come alone. You must select the wall which contain them.

There is also a button for this: If you have multiple element types selected, the button next to "Layer" on the info box changes to a hammer in a rectangle. That is the same command.

Communist tool - love it!

Don't forget that doors and windows belong to the layer of the wall they are inserted into.

Also if you want everything to go on one layer *as you create them*, use the Active Layer dialog. Assuming you have it loaded in your Add On Manager and active in your Work Environment, it will by defaul be at Options>Layers>Active Layer>One Active Layer for all element types.

Cheers,
I really wish the "communist tool' changed linetypes too. A pain when you have lines and arcs selected (or anything else for that matter) and you have to do them separately.
