You should first select the walls or the zone in the room that you want the interior wizard to work on.

In general - all the wizards have to have somethign selected first: the roof surfacer the roof plane(s), the Interior wizard the zone and so on ...

<R>I am trying to create an interior that includes base, chair and crown molding, but I can't get the Int. Wizard to work. I create the custom settings I want but can't get it to confrom to the wall/windows I've created in the building. Am I missing a step? The Magic Wand? Should I get it to conform to my current walls or is a wall tool on its own? All ArchiCAD creates is a wall with my settings that has a space for a window and door.

I can find no information that instructs as to the usage of this tool.

Thank you.
Thank you for the response.

Yes, I have selected the wall, but the moldings I've designed do not adapt to the wall. I click on the wall to select it and when I click again with the Int Wizard selected, I only get the option pop-up that lets me alter the wall. It sounds like I am missing a step, yes? Shouldn't my wall with the moldings become one with the wall I selected?
I'm having difficulty believing that no one that can come to my aid in this matter with over 20 viewings. Does no one understand how to use this tool? I would hope Graphisoft takes this as hint when it comes to creating reference manuals.

Update: If I attempt to create a zone and go that route, my computer seems to go into an indefinate working cycle (freezes up showing the working hourglass), but still won't create the moldings and wainscoat.

Any help is appreciated in this matter. Thanks.
For the Interior Wizard, you select a zone first. Then Interior Wizard and go through the steps. You do NOT click again anywhere on the plan with the interior wizard selected. The moldings/etc will be applied to the walls that are touched by your zone.

The related Wall Accessory (also Extras menu) requires that you select the wall(s) first, then the type of accessory to be associated with it.
Thank you. The second option (Wall Accessory) seems to work, though the zone approach still isn't working. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
