Hello,
I am using window marker to show window and door's height, top and bottom elevations to project zero (through Classification and properties --> General parameters) on plans. I encountered a problem with window type "wall niche rectangular" and "rectangular door opening" (everything is all right with "simple door opening"). Marker on plan returns correct height, but 0.00 top and bottom elevations. I am pretty lost since their actual elevation looks good and marker turn out fine if I change the type of window/door to another. Where can I start to look for a solution?

I see you are using the "Niche" Library Part from the Ac22 Migration Library, while working in an Ac27 project.

Can you try using the Ac27 "Niche" Library Part, see it that makes any difference?

Hello Laszio,

Thank you for the suggestion. I am working in Archicad 28, but I see Wall Niche Rectangular 27 as the latest one, not sure if it's supposed to be like that. Changing niche 22 to niche 27 had no effect.

Hmm, curious, for some reason, the "Top Elevation to Project Zero" parameter does not return the correct value for the Wall Niche.

I will report this to GS HQ.

I have found a workaround, though. You can create an Expression-based Property, which will be equal to "Bottom Elevation to Project Zero" + "Height". Then you can select this Property instead of the "Top Elevation to Project Zero" General Parameter.

Edit: We later found that the Expression should be: "Elevation to Project Zero" + "Height" to return the desired result.

That would be a nice workaround if only niche's bottom elevation to project zero would work. But since it's always zero for me regardless of the actual position, such expression shows height value. Did you have a problem with bottom elevation as well?

You are right, the "Bottom Elevation to Project Zero" General parameter does not return the correct value for the Wall Niche.

I investigated a bit more, and I found that the "Elevation to Project Zero" General parameter does, so you should use that in your Property Expression.
