BIMcomponents Homepage - STILL PROBLEMS !!! - object and profile

Hi there,

sometimes I use BIMcompenents and I opened an account for me.

As a test I uploaded an object (via ArchiCAD Uplaod).

It worked and recieved an E-Mail, that the upload worked.

In BIMcompenents I saw this 2-3 days later and with some problems;

-Image View: On direct link I see the preview picture from my object,....

-On 3D View; I see nothing, only a big plus sign > then go back to image view > ..... nothing there.... no picture any more....

-To edit my profile Business, Webppage Address etc. don't work.....

-To edit my object information doesn't work either....

-Dito my profil picture and business information.... I press on the buttons.... nothing happens.....

PS:

The Homepage or BIMcomponents Tool in ArchiCAD has a problem to find the object.

I wrote some keywords, but no word works.... ?!

Can you try two things?:

1. Clear all bimcomponents.com-related cookies and site data from yout browser

2. Try the same upload and other actions in other browsers

Let's see if any of this improves the situation.

I tried all.... on Windows Firefox, Chrome, Edge. On macOS Safari, Chrome...... nothing works fine........

So many old bib objects, but nothin new.... of course of these problems I wrote......

I wrote again on monday (25. Aug. 2025) to bimcomponents@graphisoft.com.....

and no answer yet.....

BIMcompenents wrote many days ago, We don't know ask local partner..... 😞

Then I asked my local Swiss partner IDC, they wrote, we don't know, ask Graphisoft BIMcompenents.....

What support is this der TEAM GRAPHISOFT ?

OR is the Homepage bimcomponents.com "dead" ????

I have not tried using BimComponents in years... It was such a pain to try upload things previously... Always needing to create a .lcf for standalone objects... I just ended up attaching a few objects to posts around here...

ps. Seems like they have not changed the .lcf creation system. Still can only select from root loaded folders...

Hi Graphisoft, it still doesn't work well......

It doesn't matter with which internet browser or operating system.

You see an all promotions with ArchiCAD, "use bimcomponents.com..... "

This "tool" is very very disappointing 😞
